I was given a set of these muslin swaddling wraps when I had June and they are my absolute favorite blankets to use.  Not only are they super-soft, and perfect for swaddling, but they are also perfect for the blazing hot summers in Arizona.  They kept June from overheating, even when she was swaddled up for her naps.  Each time the blankets are washed, they become softer, and I love that they are a bigger size to fit her as she grows, but without becoming bulky when she’s wrapped up.

I could go on and on with my list of how much I love these blankets, but I guess you’ll just have to see for yourself!

But after just a couple of uses with some mushy bananas, I’ll be honest:  cleaning it was not worth the hassle.  I would scrub it, then I would send it through the dishwasher.  The dishwasher would help, but it would still come out with dark brown crusty bits covering it.  Yuck!  So, I ended up throwing them away and considered it a waste of money.  When I saw the Baby Square Kidsme Food Feeder, a couple of the girls from work convinced me to give this one a try.

June has now been eating bananas, cantalope, apples, watermelon, cucumbers, peeled grapes and other food in hers.  And with just a simple wash with soap and water,  it looks as clean as the day I bought it!  June loves it too.  Since she doesn’t have teeth yet, it’s perfect to let her chomp down as hard as she wants with her little gums without having to worry that she’s going to get a big bite or something and choke.  When she’s teething, and I can tell her gums are hurting, she loves it when I put a small piece of an ice cube in it and let her chew away.
