How does it work?

HandyBites works on the same principles as a chinese finger trap, however instead of capturing fingers, HandyBites will grab onto a assortment of cookies, fruits, vegetables and various teething items. And instead of bamboo, HandyBites is made from hi-tech materials that are non-toxic and contain no BPAs or phthalates. Hundreds of micro-filaments are woven to produce an amazing gripping effect.

To insert objects - simply press them into the tube.
To extract objects - gently use your thumb and forefinger to push back the braided sheathing while extracting the object with your other hand.

What can I put in the HandyBites?

*Babies and toddlers will nibble on different things, depending on their stage in the teething/self-feeding  process. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to follow your doctor’s guidelines on feeding and teething. When appropriate, follow the guidelines provided with products such as teething biscuits, cookies, etc.
*Babies typically find the HandyBites most useful between 8 months to 18 months so there will be plenty of opportunities to introduce a wide assortment of biscuits, breads, fruits, string cheese and vegetables. As they develop and become familiar with different foods, the HandyBites becomes the perfect snack companion!
*Before baby starts self feeding, the use of the FDA-Grade “Nibbler” teething insert, and other standard teething items like spoons, toothbrushes.
