A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about the free online website called My Job Chart.com which I thought would be helpful in teaching children a good work ethic, and providing a way for them to take more responsibility when it comes to saving. And let me tell you, we are loving it over here! It has almost completely eliminated Caleb’s initial negative attitude when it comes to helping around the house, getting his homework done, practicing the piano, etc. He is so excited when he comes home from school to get going on his responsibilities so he can check them off and see how many points he’s earning. Not only that, but miracles of miracles, the child is saving his money. That’s unheard of from this boy of ours, he’s an immediate gratification fella.
